GR20 2027: when the refuge bookings open, and how to book the chain
Every GR20 refuge night, whether a bunk, a hired tent or a bivouac pitch, is booked on the reservation system of the Parc naturel régional de Corse, and booking is compulsory, bivouac included. For 2026 the platform opened on 20 January 2026, for a season from 16 May to 4 October 2026. On 29 September 2026 the park had not announced the date for 2027.

- At booking you choose a bunk, a bivouac pitch or a hired tent.
- Payment is online, by card.
- Changes are possible up to two days before each stage.

The nights that go first
Refuge de Carrozzu, Refuge de Ciottulu di i Mori and Refuge de Paliri fill first in July and August. Reserve the whole chain before you commit to dates.
Vizzavona, Ascu Stagnu and E Capanelle are reached by road and also have hotel or gîte beds outside the park’s system. They are the fallback when a refuge night is full.

In what order to book
- Before the platform opens: pick your direction (the classic is north to south, from Calenzana), a start date and a second one a few days later.
- The day it opens: book the whole chain in one go, starting with Carrozzu, Ciottulu di i Mori and Paliri.
- If a night is full: build the stage around Vizzavona, Ascu Stagnu or E Capanelle, which have beds outside the park.
- Keep an eye on the two-day limit: after that, a stage can no longer be changed.
